Our monthly Comedy at the Lighthouse returns this September with another outstanding double bill, featuring two of Northern Ireland's finest comedians, Lianne McCooey and Darren Matthews.

Lianne McCooey has quickly established herself as one of the most exciting voices on the local comedy circuit. With her sharp observations, effortless storytelling and brilliantly relatable humour, she's become a favourite with audiences across Northern Ireland and beyond. Warm, witty and wonderfully engaging, Lianne is a comedian not to be missed.

Joining her is Darren Matthews, the Armagh native and self-confessed attention-seeking middle child who has spent the past 15 years performing around the world. As resident MC at Belfast's Sunflower Comedy Club and Panic Station Comedy Club in Newry, Darren is a seasoned live performer with a knack for turning life's adventures into laugh-out-loud stories. Expect quick wit, hilarious anecdotes and the kind of easy-going charm that has made him one of the busiest comedians on the local circuit.
